Abstract

This document aims to describe the factors affecting the performance of a Global Virtual Team (GVT) in Global Software Development (GSD), and the concepts and goals associated with the GSD process,through the use of a set of concepts and the relationships that link them and the properties that represent the attributes of each concept and the restrictions imposed on them, where the ontology with class instances forms a knowledge base that helps in obtaining a broader understanding of the GSD process using GVTs.
